PRIVACY POLICY
Effective 9/8/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Beautiful You Aesthetics, LLC (“Beautiful You,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.beautifulyoumn.com (the “Site”), request information, book an appointment, sign up for a promotion, or otherwise interact with us online. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
A note about health information: this policy covers information collected through the Site itself — things like contact forms, online booking, and account details. It does not cover the clinical or treatment records created during your visits (for example, medical history, consultation notes, or treatment documentation). Those records are protected health information and are handled under separate safeguards described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to you directly, in person or by request.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. We collect information you choose to provide, such as when you:
-
Fill out a contact, booking, or consultation request form (name, email address, phone number, and the service you’re interested in)
-
Sign up for a promotion, giveaway, or event (such as our James J. Hill Days landing page), which may also collect your service interest
-
Create or log into your client portal account to view appointments, invoices, or signed documents
-
Leave a review, testimonial, or comment, or message us on social media
-
Subscribe to our email list or blog updates
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site (hosted on Wix) automatically collects some information when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and approximate location, typically through cookies and similar tracking technologies. See Section 3 below for more on cookies.
Payment information. If you pay a deposit or make a purchase online, your payment is processed directly by our payment processor (Wix Payments). We do not store your full credit card number on our servers; the processor handles that information under its own security standards and privacy policy.
Information from third-party platforms. Our Site may display content from Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business Profile (for example, an embedded social feed or customer reviews). Those platforms have their own privacy policies governing how they collect and use information, and we encourage you to review them.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
-
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments and bookings, including collecting deposits per our booking policy
-
Respond to your questions, consultation requests, and messages
-
Send appointment reminders, invoices, and service-related communications
-
Send marketing communications, such as our blog, promotions, and offers (you can opt out at any time — see Section 8)
-
Administer contests, giveaways, and event sign-ups, including notifying winners and delivering discount codes
-
Understand how visitors use our Site and improve its content and performance
-
Maintain the security of our Site and prevent fraud or misuse
-
Comply with legal obligations
-
3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies — provided through our website platform, Wix, and tools such as Google Analytics — to recognize repeat visitors, remember preferences, and understand overall site traffic and usage patterns. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how some parts of the Site function (such as online booking).
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
-
With service providers who help us run the Site and our business — currently Wix (hosting, booking, CRM, email), Wix Payments (payment processing), and Google Analytics (site analytics) — who are permitted to use your information only to provide those services to us
-
With Jan Marini Skin Research, if you choose to purchase skincare products through our affiliate storefront for home delivery; that transaction is governed by their own privacy policy
-
As required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Beautiful You, our clients, or others
-
In connection with a business transfer, such as a sale or merger, subject to standard confidentiality protections
5. Testimonials & Reviews
With permission, we may display client testimonials on our Site, drawn from reviews left on our Google Business Profile. To protect client privacy, we identify reviewers by first name or first initial and last name only, and we do not use client photos in testimonials — any imagery used alongside testimonials is stock photography, not a photo of the reviewing client.
6. Data Retention
We retain the information described in this policy for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business and financial records, and comply with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. Client portal and booking records are retained in accordance with our standard business recordkeeping practices.
7. Data Security
We rely on Wix’s hosting and payment infrastructure, which includes industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and secure payment processing, to help protect the information collected through our Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices
